Easy to Use. Touch Screen Rapid Reagent Dispenser

The VIAFILL presents a compact and intuitive solution for automatically dispensing bulk cassette reagents directly into well plates. Offering more liquid handling functionality than a conventional bulk reagent dispenser.  Beside the typical reagent dispensing functionality, it can also be used as a multichannel pipette or a wellplate washer, combining three operation modes into a single instrument.

Rapid Bulk Reagent Dispensing

A choice of Dispensing Tubing Sets with different bore sizes allow for accurate and rapid reagent addition between 0.5µl to 10ml into 6, 12, 24, 48, 96, 384 and 1536 well plates.  A unique 16 channel tubing set is available to make the filling of 384 or 1536 well plates even more effective.

The addition of a Plate Stacker module further increases the throughput and allows the unattended operation of the VIAFILL. Well plates are stored in the Plate Stacker using removable Plate Chimneys of either 25 or 50 plates. From there plates are automatically fed into the reagent dispenser, filled and restacked back into the Plate Stacker.

Modular and Scaleable Plate Stacker

With a philosophy of automation, a modular plate stacker attachment equips the VIAFILL with a stackable load of 25 or 50 plates, saving valuable loading and unloading time.

Full Colour Touch Screen

The VIAFILL is the first reagent dispenser which includes a touch screen colour interface and was designed to enable intuitive navigation of the instrument and thus minimize the learning curve for all users.  It allows users to quickly edit predefined programs and to create, store, name and recall up to 99 individual liquid handling applications.

Versitile Volume Range and Compatability

Fully Automated, Ultra Compact Liquid Handling System

The CyBi®-FeliX CHOICE™ is a flexible and compact liquid handling platform for the processing of tubes, single wells, rows and columns in different plate formats with highest volume flexibility. The system has 12 deck positions on two levels for microplates, tube racks, reservoirs and tips on the small footprint of 650 x 450 mm (w x d).

The platform achieves a unique volume range of 0.5 μl – 1000 μl with only one pipetting head based on the patent pending CHOICE™ technology. The different CHOICE™ adapters with built-in tip loading are picked up by the pipetting head automatically and allow 1, 8, 12 and 16 channel pipetting without the need of manual intervention. This allows the CyBi®-FeliX CHOICE™ to work in different volume ranges, plate formats and in tubes.

96 and 384 Channel Compatibility

For highest precision in every volume range, there are the interchangeable pipetting heads 96/250 µl as well as 384/60 µl with the proven tip sealing technology available. Along with the parallel processing of whole 96- and 384-well microplates, the different liquid handling adapters also allow work in single wells, rows and columns. The pickup of liquid handling adapters and tips is performed by the pipetting head without the need of manual intervention. After the pickup, each adapter is identified with optimised pipetting parameters and correct volume range set for the highest pipetting precision possible.

The CyBi®-FeliX CHOICE™ can also be upgraded with 96 and 384 channel pipetting heads at any time following the initial installation.  The platform can be adjusted to any application requirements through the right combination of pipetting heads, accessories and tips.

Composer Software

CyBi®-FeliX Composer Software enables users to set up assays in minutes.  Intuitive workflow editor, integrated drag & drop support and reagent tracking via colour-coding makes the FeliX researcher friendly.

This useful tool is a machine-engineered metal block with 96 pins aligned central to each well of a 96 well plate. The pierce plate’s 96 pins pierce every well of a heat or adhesive-sealed 96 well PCR or microplate (pierceable seals only).

Enables instant access to samples with a single or multichannel pipette or automated system.

The Pierce Plate can be cleaned between uses to avoid contamination by using most cleaning agents that are suitable for use on aluminium e.g. RNase removal solutions, bleach or UV treatment.

Low profile, 0.1 ml polypropylene wells, working volume: <100 µl, total well capacity: 200 µl; can be used as a standalone product or inserted in any of the Vari-Plate™ frames available for ease of handling.

These low profile PCR tube strips are moulded from virgin polypropylene under cleanroom conditions.

They are available in either clear polypropylene for standard PCR techniques, or in white polypropylene for use in fluorescent detection applications like qPCR, as they give the highest sensitivity and consistency as all the fluorescence signal is reflected back to the detector.

– Can be used as individual strips, or in a Vari-Plate™ frame for easier handling
– Low profile 0.1 ml (100 µl) working volume, with a 0.2 ml (200 µl) total well capacity when used with sealing options
– Ultra-smooth, uniform, thin-walled polypropylene tubes for optimum PCR and real-time (RT-qPCR) results

Designed to directly print text, linear barcodes, 2D codes and graphics on plastic laboratory tubes using patent pending Thermal Pixel Printing technology.

The TubeMarker™ 2 allows printing directly onto the surface of plastic laboratory tubes between 6 mm – 30 mm in diameter.

There is no need for using labels or marker pens. Marking is resistant to ethanol, isopropanol, water, DMSO*, liquid nitrogen and mechanical abrasion. The prints are also stable over a wide temperature range (-196 °C to 100 °C). Markings do not transfer when touching the tubes.

Several lines of text can be printed, for example: sample name, sampling site, your name, date and time etc. All TrueType fonts available on the connected computer can be printed in a range of different sizes, which determines the maximum printable content. Bold and italic type is also available.

The instrument can also print linear barcodes, datamatrix (2D) codes and graphic files (monochrome .bmp, .gif or .tiff) such as logos. Print orientation can be vertical or horizontal (except for barcodes which print vertically only).

The TubeMarker™ 2 includes an Automatic Printing Delay feature, where the instrument is able to detect the presence of a tube and automatically prints the next label entry in the software. This feature makes printing to the tube surface much easier and faster than marking by hand.
