The XL9 Tube Handler is a simple to use automated pick-and-place tube handler for 96 tube rack samples.

The XL9 Tube Sorting System automates the transfer of tubes from up to nine 96-tube racks, simplifying compound library management, sample preparation, assay sorting, and other processing procedures.

A smaller version of the XL20, the XL9 automates sample tube sorting, re-arraying, sample weighing, sample volume tracking, and now tube labelling!

The XL9’s workflow oriented software controls the automatic transfer of sample tubes to the 2D barcode reader, tube balance, and volume measurement options. The XL9 software logs all collected data (sample 2D code, sample weight, etc.) to output files and integrates with LIMS.

A proven sample management tool, the XL9 works well as primary automation platform for labs with growing sample libraries, and as complementary tube processing platform for larger core facilities.

XL100 Vial Handling System

XL100 (or XL200) Series Vial Handling Instruments are robotic pick and place vial handling systems used by drug discovery and biotech laboratories.  Typical applications include sample receipt processing, vial weighing for compound dissolution, tube weighing for biotech agricultural groups, print and apply vial labelling for all types and sizes, walk-away vial capping and decapping systems, and liquid handling for the widest array of vial based sample processing with built in sample transfer verification. 

The XL Series can be manufactured with the various modules to meet your group’s automation needs.  These include a linear barcode reader to decode barcoded labels wrapped around a vial, a 2D barcode reader for data matrix barcodes on the bottom of vials, an automated balance for weighing applications, a decapper/recapper for screw cap vials, an automated capper for walk-away capping of screw cap vials, an electronic pipette for liquid handling operations, rack transfer station, and the new XL LabelPro for print and apply vial labelling. 

Vial processing modes include work list, data collection, and tare/gross weighing.  For example, the XL software processes vials and collects 1D barcode and weight information.  The collected information is then provided in the form of a user defined output file (.csv or .txt).

The VIAFILL presents a compact and intuitive solution for automatically dispensing bulk cassette reagents directly into well plates. Offering more liquid handling functionality than a conventional bulk reagent dispenser.  Beside the typical reagent dispensing functionality, it can also be used as a multichannel pipette or a wellplate washer, combining three operation modes into a single instrument.

Rapid Bulk Reagent Dispensing

A choice of Dispensing Tubing Sets with different bore sizes allow for accurate and rapid reagent addition between 0.5µl to 10ml into 6, 12, 24, 48, 96, 384 and 1536 well plates.  A unique 16 channel tubing set is available to make the filling of 384 or 1536 well plates even more effective.

The addition of a Plate Stacker module further increases the throughput and allows the unattended operation of the VIAFILL. Fully Automated, Ultra Compact Liquid Handling System

The CyBi®-FeliX CHOICE™ is a flexible and compact liquid handling platform for the processing of tubes, single wells, rows and columns in different plate formats with highest volume flexibility. The system has 12 deck positions on two levels for microplates, tube racks, reservoirs and tips on the small footprint of 650 x 450 mm (w x d).

The platform achieves a unique volume range of 0.5 μl – 1000 μl with only one pipetting head based on the patent pending CHOICE™ technology. The Viaflo ASSIST ensures that tip angle and height for aspiration and dispensing is exactly the same across the plate. This ensures reproducible results each and every time.

Designed for Prevention of RSI

No matter how light and well balanced a pipette is, prolonged pipetting tasks remain physically and mentally challenging. While some steps always need to be performed manually, many other steps can be automated. To prevent RSI caused by extensive repetitive motions, manual pipetting should be minimised. VIAFLO ASSIST lets you switch between the manual and automated pipetting tasks on the fly, relieving you of much of the pipetting burden.

Versatile | Smart Pipette Adapter

The pipette adapter of VIAFLO ASSIST allows the use of all VIAFLO II multichannel pipettes. The width of the adapter can be adjusted for 8-, 12-, and 16-channel pipettes. The pipettes cover a volume range of 0.5 – 1250 µl.

This useful tool is a machine-engineered metal block with 96 pins aligned central to each well of a 96 well plate. The pierce plate’s 96 pins pierce every well of a heat or adhesive-sealed 96 well PCR or microplate (pierceable seals only).

Enables instant access to samples with a single or multichannel pipette or automated system.

The Pierce Plate can be cleaned between uses to avoid contamination by using most cleaning agents that are suitable for use on aluminium e.g. RNase removal solutions, bleach or UV treatment.

Low profile, 0.1 ml polypropylene wells, working volume: <100 µl, total well capacity: 200 µl; can be used as a standalone product or inserted in any of the Vari-Plate™ frames available for ease of handling.

These low profile PCR tube strips are moulded from virgin polypropylene under cleanroom conditions.

They are available in either clear polypropylene for standard PCR techniques, or in white polypropylene for use in fluorescent detection applications like qPCR, as they give the highest sensitivity and consistency as all the fluorescence signal is reflected back to the detector.

Features

– Can be used as individual strips, or in a Vari-Plate™ frame for easier handling
– Low profile 0.1 ml (100 µl) working volume, with a 0.2 ml (200 µl) total well capacity when used with sealing options
– Ultra-smooth, uniform, thin-walled polypropylene tubes for optimum PCR and real-time (RT-qPCR) results
– Raised well rims prevent cross contamination and facilitate effective sealing for reduced evaporation
– Vari-Strips™ available with clear well tubes or white well tubes – white well tubes giving the highest sensitivity and consistency for fluorescent detection during qPCR
– Compatible with standard multichannel pipettes
– Combi packs available with strips of 8 flat optical caps

IdentiTags

IdentiTags are labels for use with standard strips and are simple to slide on. There’s enough room to label the experiment and/or use barcode stickers.

For tube strips with IdentiTag labels, please add /L to the end of the product code on your purchase order.
