This pipettor for protein crystallisation can access 6 deck positions, in a minimal footprint. These positions can accommodate 15ml tube racks, 50mL tube racks, deep well blocks, standard 96 and 24 well protein crystallisation plates, as well as tip racks. Avaliable pipette tips include 50uL, 200uL and 1mL volumes.
The deck can accommodate 96 racked 15mL tubes. This allows the Scorpion to re-array commercial screens purchased in 15ml tubes into a 96-well plate in approximately 25 minutes.
The intuitive and easy-to-use software allows for the easy design of n-dimensional grids and arrays. Using a straightforward software interface, grids can easily be set up across a plate or in any portion of a plate. One grid pattern can be overlaid over another grid pattern. The software graphically shows the contents of each well.

- Ability to use your existing labware. Tip head design allows pipette tips to reach the bottom of 2mL blocks as well as 15mL tubes and 50mL tubes.
- With 6 deck positions, screen kits can be purchased in 15 mL tubes and re-arrayed into 96-well plates.
- Compatible with 50ul pipette tips, enabling dispensing down to 1ul. Multiple tip sizes can be used in one protocol.
