Secure Sample Preparation
- Operates without ice, batteries or electricity
- Keeps samples cold at a uniform 0.5 to 4.0°C for up to 16 hours
- Keeps samples frozen (<0°C) for up to 8 hours
- The built-in 1-8ºC temperature indicator provides visual assurance of operational temperature while working
Broad Compatibility
- Versatile: accommodates most CoolRack modules
- Small footprint ideal for use in the hood especially in keeping temperature sensitive solutions cold
- To extend the cooling/freezing duration, keep an additional Cooling/Freezing Core in the freezer and replace the cartridge as needed
How to use, Ease of Use
- Freeze the Cooling/Freezing Core in -20°C freezer
- Place frozen core in base/holder
- Rest CoolRack module on cartridge
- Module will equilibrate and maintain temperature via thermo-conductivity
- To extend the cooling/freezing duration, keep an additional Cooling/Freezing Core in the freezer and replace the core as needed
- Dry ice may be used in place of the cores to create a compact snap freezing workstation
