Innovative Pipetting Technology

Lynx automated liquid handling platform features Volume Verified Pipetting (VVP) technology, an Innovative Pipetting Technology that has independent volume control and pressure sensors on all channels of the 96 Channel Head.

Awarded the SLAS NPA award. Proudly designed and built in the U.S.A.

Delivers Key Workflow Advantages

• Volume Verified Pipetting (VVP) Technology
• Independent Channel Control. Vary volumes/channel
• Fast Normalisation. Completes a 96 well plate in <1min
• Positive Pressure Extraction
• Detects Sub-Target Transfers
• Automatically Optimises Variable Sample Viscosity
• 12-16 X Faster at Large Volume Workflows with 24 channel 5mL head
• More Sensitive Clog Detection & Correction. Improves processing up to 37%”

Lynx automated preparation of proteomics samples for bottom up mass spectrometry. This SP3 trypsin digest protocol takes approximately 80 minutes including all automated on-deck incubations but excluding digestion time. The Lynx liquid handling platform here is equipped with a 96 channel volume verified pipetting head (VVP) which has some unique capabilities such as concurrent, independent operation of all 96 channels allowing per channel volumes to be transferred. The samples are wheat flour samples of approximately 30mg and the work conducted by the University of Western Australia node of WA Proteomics, located in Perth, Australia.”It all works well and produces good data when run on our proteomics instruments. We’re quite pleased with the progress so far.”
